Sugarsnap is a truly farm-table-caterer. Their catering services include custom, full-service events like weddings and corporate receptions as well as a delivery service. Sugarsnap specializes in wholesome food made from farm-fresh, seasonal ingredients - resulting in menus that are creative and frequently changing.

Sugarsnap started in 2004 as a take-out restaurant (with a farm) on Riverside Ave., but over the years have grown and focused entirely on catering. Their large production kitchen is now about 5 miles away in South Burlington.

On 2.5 acres in the Intervale, Abbey and her team grow primarily culinary herbs, flowers, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and beets. They use this harvest for their menus as well as garnishes and decor at events. Many of the vegetables are stored as products like pickles, relishes and sauces to be used through the winter.
