The Intervale Center is a great place to celebrate! Located just a mile from downtown Burlington, the Intervale Center's Community Barn offers a convenient, rustic, and picturesque setting for your wedding or celebration!
All proceeds from our Community Barn rentals directly fund our organization’s work to strengthen community food systems in Vermont.
What is included?
The Community Barn is a rustic 1860s renovated barn with capacity for 110 people seated inside (or a maximum of 200 people seated outside, with a tent rental). The grounds include two landscaped acres with gardens, a large willow tree, and a frog pond. From the site there is easy access to the Rena Calkins 1-mile trail along the Winooski River as well as additional biking and walking trails.
Amenities include:
Fourteen 6’, and three 8' tables, which provides table space for up to 100 seated guests.
120 brown folding plastic chairs
Lightweight, portable PA system with Bluetooth connectivity, speaker stands, and microphones.
Charcoal grill that can be used during the event by any licensed caterer
WiFi and power
Bistro lighting
Sandwich boards and signage
Three port-a-lets (one is handicap accessible) and one indoor bathroom
Intervale Staff member on-site

Barn rentals are available mid-May through mid-October. We are currently booking for the 2025 season.
