A community-powered organic vegetable and flower farm
The People's Farm is the Intervale Center's volunteer-powered farm that provides fresh produce to our community and is a welcoming space for all to learn about agricultural processes – no farming experience necessary!
Since 2020, volunteers at The People’s Farm have been growing food for our community. The produce is distributed through the Intervale Food Hub’s, free, CSA-style produce pick-up: Fair Share.
Volunteering at the People’s Farm
Do you want to learn how to farm while providing food for the community?
The People's Farm Crew is a group of dedicated Intervale Center volunteers who help tend to the farm every Monday from 8am -12pm, May through October (weather dependent). In exchange for their time, volunteers have the opportunity to pick-up fresh produce from the Fair Share each week, earn City Market Member Worker hours, and learn how to farm!
All are welcome!
Fill out the form or email nathan@intervale.org to join The People’s Farm Crew.
Can’t commit to 4 hours a week? Stop by anytime during volunteer hours instead!
