Mia grew up in Massachusetts and moved to Vermont in 2018 to study Environmental Studies at the University of Vermont. They have a background in environmental education and outreach, having supported hand-on education and community engagement at Shelburne Farms, the Lake Champlain Basin Program, and Audubon Vermont. These roles contributed to Mia’s interest in community connection, environmental education, and deepened their appreciation for local food systems.

In their free time, Mia enjoys birding, playing games with friends, riding horses, and making pottery!
