Elyssa Nielsen, Conservation Nursery Crew

Elyssa is joining the Conservation Nursery Planting and Stewardship crew for her second year.  Before this, she studied Environmental Studies and Anthropology at the University of Vermont, spent time working on other organic farms, and gleaning with the Vermont Food Bank – motivated by her passion for both people and planet (and her inability to sit still).  Elyssa can most often (ideally) be found sitting in a picnic blanket reading or knitting, running (or grumbling about having to go on her next run), eating chocolate, or listening to birds.
