Christine Porcaro brings over 15 years of experience working on a farm and in community and economic development in Vermont. She came to Vermont in 2011 to work at Fat Toad Farm where she learned a lot about goats, caramel, farming, and the Floating Bridge! Chirstine then became the Farm and Food Business Coordinator and eventually Manager at Healthy Roots where she worked for six years on food access, education, and farm viability in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. Christine brings this combined experience on farms and in our community to our work supporting VT farm business development and land access.  When not working with farmers, she loves running, beekeeping, making pasta, reading comics, fiber arts, and all things Philadelphia.
