Join James Beard award-winning cookbook author Molly Stevens and the Intervale Center’s Executive Director, Travis Marcotte, for a culinary conversation and cooking demonstration! It’s an evening of exploring smart (and tasty) ways to utilize local ingredients in your kitchen, even in late winter. We’ll talk about the Intervale Center’s gleaning and food rescue program and how to reduce kitchen waste using less familiar cuts of meat and turning storage vegetables into wonderful dishes. The improvisational menu will take its inspiration from the products brought to us by our farmer friends working with the Intervale Center. There will be delicious food, a cash bar and no shortage of useful tips. Join us for this special event!
