Amanda Carrubba (she/her), Director of Finance & Operations

Growing up in Jericho, Amanda early on developed a passion for both social and environmental justice. She graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in Women’s & Gender Studies and began her career in nonprofits at the Flynn Center. There she found her calling supporting amazing programming and the staff that implement it from behind-the-scenes.
She moved to Seattle and earned her MFA in Nonprofit Arts Leadership while working for an incredible literary arts organization called Seattle Arts & Lectures for over 18 years, where she developed skills in finance, HR, organizational and systems development, and whatever else came up. She is passionate about applying a values driven approach to all facets of a nonprofit and fostering a welcoming and inclusive culture from the inside out.
As the Intervale Center’s Director of Finance & Operations, Amanda has managed the administration of numerous grants, including federal and state grants and multi-year grants. She has years of experience managing financial forecasts and reports as well as developing and meeting budget goals for a growing organization.
