L. Randolph “Randy” Amis, Esq.
L. Randolph “Randy” Amis has been an attorney in Burlington, Vermont since 1981, currently of counsel with Montroll Backus & Oettinger PC, which has a wide variety of clients in residential and commercial real estate matters, business matters, estate planning and probate actions. Randy has served on numerous non-profit, community and government boards and committees including City of Burlington City Council as Councilor from Ward 5, Champlain Housing Trust, Inc. as President of the Board, and Chittenden County Bar Association as President of the Board. Randy was recently appointed as Chair of the Board of Commissioners of Vermont Housing Finance Agency by Governor Peter Shumlin. Randy has lived and gardened in Burlington’s South End since 1984. He first came to Vermont in 1977. Randy is married to Jane W. Amis. They have three grown children starting families of their own. Randy attended and has degrees from Hamilton College and Vermont Law School. Randy’s interest in sustainable land use, fondness for farmers and farming and love of food compelled him to join the Intervale Center Board.
