Through the Vermont Farm Viability Program, the Intervale Center works with farmers and value-added food businesses to develop in-depth business plans. We provide a range of specialized support including farmland access and transfer planning, legal and regulatory expertise, and value-added and enterprise analysis.
Over a two year process, farmers and business owners work with Intervale Center staff and independent consultants to build management capacity and grow their business. Using financial and non-financial goals the business owner develops a long-term plan for success with concrete goals for each step of the way.
If you are an established farmer or food processor who is interested in a two-year, in-depth business planning program, Farm Viability may be right for you. Find more information about the Vermont Farm and Forest Viability Program here.
