Providing fresh farm products to low income families
Vermont has several federally supported programs created to improve the health of citizens with limited resources. Programs benefits include access to fresh and healthy locally grown farm products. Here is a list of the programs available
Farm to Family
Farm to Family is a federal program that offers coupons to low-income residents, which can be used to buy fresh produce at farmers markets. Coupons are available to WIC participants through the WIC program and at Community Action offices for the general public.
