Food and Kitchen Waste:
- Meat and Poultry
- Bones
- All Fish and Seafood, including shells
- Fruits & Vegetables
- Eggs and Egg Shells
- Milk, Cheese, and all other Dairy Products
- Bread and Grains
- Coffee and Tea
- Condiments (salad dressing, ketchup, etc.)
- Oils and Fats
- Paper products - napkins, towels, bags, table covers, plates
- Coffee and Tea Filters
- Wood BBQ Skewers
We CANNOT accept:
- Plastic of any kind
- Plastic-covered or Plastic-lined paper bags, plates, cups, etc.
- To-Go food containers
- Metals, including foil wrapping
- Toxic Materials such as Paints, Solvents, Pesticides, or Petroleum Products
Lawn and Garden Waste:
- Leaves
- Grass Clippings
- Twigs and wood chips (under 1/2 inch diameter ONLY)
We CANNOT accept:
- Wood larger than 1/2 inch diameter. This can be brought to the McNeil Generating Station
across the road (802-864-7446) or any of the Full-Service Drop Off Centers run by Chittenden Solid Waste District (CSWD, 802-872-8111).
- Dirt or Sod
- Plastic of any kind
- Toxic Materials such as Paints, Solvents, Pesticides, or Petroleum Products
